Fully nonlinear

A fully nonlinear equation takes the form

$F(u,Du,\ldots ,D^{k}u)=0$

for some nonlinear function F. By differentiating this equation once and working with the system $v:=(u,Du)$ one can convert this equation to a quasilinear equation at the cost of reducing the regularity of the fields by one.
